New Definition, Same Direction

This year we are celebrating our 25th anniversary! The Lord continues to faithfully lead and guide the ministry, and we move forward in faith, trusting that He will continue to fulfill His purposes in the years to come.

With 25 years of God’s faithfulness to remember, we cannot think of a more appropriate time to strategize for the future. Thank you for those you prayed for us as we set out to do that this year. Strategic planning has helped us intensify our focus and organize the ministry for greater impact in the years ahead.

Through the cooperation and collaboration of our team, we have sharpened core areas of the ministry, including our mission and vision. As a ministry we are still moving in the same direction, but our new mission and vision reflects greater definition of how God is using us to minister in Uganda.

Without further ado, we are excited to share with you our new mission and vision!

Mission:
The mission of Good Shepherd’s Fold is making disciples through child care & advocacy, education, and community development so that we are holistically building thriving families and transforming communities for Christ. 

Vision: 
Thriving Families, Transformed Communities for Christ

Every program and activity at GSF is filtered through this vision statement. Families cannot truly thrive without the truth of the gospel to guide their lives. The direction we are going is to see entire communities transformed as its families begin to thrive.  We must work with people in order to see this level of transformation accomplished. Relationships, not programs, are the real instruments of change.

Christ remains at the center of all that we do at GSF. Apart from Him, both our mission and vision are futile. Would you pray for us as we live out this mission and vision in our community in Uganda?
