Become Part of their Story

Every day at Good Shepherd’s Fold, lives are being transformed through Christ as He uses the faithfulness of people who choose to walk alongside vulnerable children and families. Guided by a vision of thriving families and transformed communities for Christ, GSF works through Childcare and Advocacy, Community Development, and Education to create lasting change that extends far beyond a single generation. What began as a small act of obedience has grown into a vibrant ministry where children are nurtured, families are strengthened, and communities are empowered with the hope of the Gospel.

Today, we invite you to become part of that ongoing story. By joining our community of monthly supporters, you provide steady, reliable support that helps sustain the programs and relationships that make transformation possible. As a special thank-you, monthly partners will receive a complimentary copy of Running to the Fire by Ken Isaacs. Through powerful stories from decades of humanitarian work around the world, the book offers a compelling picture of faith in action and God’s faithfulness in the midst of crisis.

Your partnership will help continue the story of transformation unfolding every day at Good Shepherd’s Fold, bringing hope, opportunity, and the love of Christ to children, families, and communities for generations to come.

THANK YOU!

What is the impact of your monthly gift?

James Mpiima

GSF began in 1994 reaching the most vulnerable in Uganda through the initial work of the children’s home. At one time, the tagline for GSF was “A Home for Children and Babies.” The early years of the ministry were sustained by faithful monthly donors – a legacy in which some still sustain the ministry today.

$100/month – Provides milk, formula and supplies for the Babies’ House throughout the year. Join the legacy of GSF with our most common monthly gift, in honor of the origins of GSF!

Chloe Ayero

Look to the future through the eyes of our 57 GSF Scholarship students in secondary, university and vocational schools. The legacy of children in years past, offers hope for those still being discipled by godly mentors as they move through higher education. Whether it’s a Bachelor’s Degree, trade school certification or being licensed as a medical doctor, education offers hope for a better future.

$50/month qualifies you as a Scholarship Champion, providing a quarter of the $2,400 average annual cost of higher education for our students. This amount provides mentorship, transportation and medical care in addition to tuition, room and board at school. $200/month covers one student like Chloe for an entire year!

Pastor Robert

Monthly donors provide the foundation for all programming, outreach, and care that flows through GSF. Churches, schools, community leaders, families and individuals are all impacted by those who faithfully invest in the ministry. Thank you!

Adding $15/month ensures that GSF is always ready to offer physical therapy, trauma healing, Biblical training, Family Life Groups, radio broadcasts or a host of other strategic programs already launched by your investments. We would love to share the gift book with you for increasing your monthly gift by any amount!

Pastor Joshua

Growing the capacity of GSF to offer gospel-grounded programs to church partners, radio listeners, local schools and communities, government officials, children with special needs and more… Larger monthly gifts establish all GSF programs to reach beyond what we think possible.

$500-$1,000 per month is an investment that multiplies all the stories like Pastor Joshua, whose church would not have been reached without the ongoing presence of GSF ministries.

What is GSF Founders Day?

Good Shepherd’s Fold began in 1994 as a small home for vulnerable children and has since grown into a thriving ministry transforming thousands of lives through education, community development, and child advocacy. This growth is a testament to the faith of the many founders who trusted God, followed Him into the unknown, surrendered their lives to His leading, and dedicated the work of GSF into His hands. Founders Day celebrates their legacy, and all that God has accomplished through the ministry over the years.

On March 3, 2025, GSF celebrated its first Founders Day, honoring the faith and dedication of those God used to establish the ministry and highlighting its longstanding partnership with Samaritan’s Purse.

Who is Ken Isaacs?

GSF has had a longstanding relationship with Samaritan’s Purse for nearly 30 years. Ken Isaacs, SP Vice President of Programs and Government Relations, has been particularly influential in this relationship. Ken has spent more than 35 years serving people in crisis around the world in Jesus’ Name. He first visited GSF in 1997 with Franklin Graham and Ken’s name is on the founding documents when GSF first registered in Uganda. Ken played an important role in strengthening the ministry’s mission and helping expand its impact on vulnerable children and families through a shared commitment to Christ-centered service.

More recently, Ken presented Mark and Amy Gwartney with a copy of his new book, Running to the Fire. Reading like an international spy novel, Running to the Fire “shares incredible boots-on-the-ground stories from his decades of service with Samaritan’s Purse.”
