The school yard bustles as students chatter with friends and find their way to their desks. The students’ excitement is rivaled by their teachers who eagerly welcome all the students back on campus for the first time since March 2020. The teachers went above and beyond to reach the students during school closures as a result of COVID-19, but nothing quite replaces in-person learning.
As of today, 381 students are attending the Good Shepherd’s Fold Nursery and Primary School. Each student is receiving nourishment physically, spiritually, and mentally through a Christian, quality education and two nutritious meals served daily.
Our desire is for all of the students to grow in their faith as we disciple and teach them.
Would you pray for the GSF students? The theme verse of the school is Proverbs 9:10a: “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.” Would you pray that, first and foremost, the students would grow in Him? Would you pray for the students as they readjust to school, including their new schedules and routines? Pray also for the teachers as they guide and train the students to reflect the love of Jesus Christ.
